Those Embraer jets BA use out of City are well nice. Lots of leg room.
But BA on a whole have been shit. Cancelled a flight 2 weeks ago and had to go Heathrow. Mind u terminal 5 aint too bad.

My MATE'S wife was BA. They got stood down in lockdown, then they got an ultimatum, sign a new contract of employment with lower wages, or take redundancy. She took redundancy and early retirement. This is why there are staff shortages
Same situation as my niece … although she took the redundancy, went off and trained with the fire service and is now back with BA

I've just googled how much it'd be to charter a private jet from London City to Belgium.
Less than what I was expecting. Just over €5,000.

Due you think it maybe down to the fact that most of the travel industry was obliterated the past 2 and a bit years and had to off load everyone and are now struggling to fill the gaps again?
The other problem is the media, they are sending everyone into a frenzy saying how bad things are at the airports and making everyone get there early in fear of missing a flight and all that is doing is giving the airport too many people to cope with during that time frame and making it chaos.

In the last 3 weeks I've flown from City Airport twice, Dublin twice, Heathrow and Amsterdam. I am currently in Bologna.
